We are a friendly, fun and accessible mixed community choir based in Widnes. 
The choir has been running for 13 years and continues to impress audiences and gives our members lots of smiles and laughter.
There are no auditions or pre-paid fees. 
You don’t have to have skill or experience to join and your first session is FREE!

JAY P McWINEN 
BA (HONS)Performing Arts

 

 

Jay is a professional singer/ actor / performing arts practitioner and Musical Director. Artistic director of Torrid Star Productions

 

His background includes work with The National Operatic and Drama Association, Gilbert & Sullivan Operatics, Techniques Music Academy and RbA Management-Actors Agency, the Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool Media Academy and performing art schools within Merseyside. 

 

Jay directs three choirs in the northwest and often brings them together for festivals, competetions, community celebrations and more.

 

His work and passion in music for health and wellbeing has brought his popular style of direction to hundreds each year and he continues to promote this work with each group he works with

 

 

Jay composes Music for theatre, film and underscore as well as song writing for other artists.
